Class 1 Forest school

Today in Forest school, the children made vegetable soup. They peeled the carrots and potatoes, onions and a stock cube was added for more flavour, the children really enjoyed the soup🍜

Class 3 making their own fires!

As part of their forest school session, class 3 had to work in teams to make their own fires safely. The teams had to light their own fires and keep the fire going, then they got to toast their own marshmallows on it! The kids had great fun and showed brilliant team work. Well done class 3!

Class 1 Forest school gingerbread men

Today in Forest school the children made gingerbread men, they cooked them on an open fire 🔥 They all said they were yummy and tasted delicious.

This morning during our forest school session we created some bufferfly feeders to hang in our wildlife area. The children used the bow saw to saw a log and the drill to drill a hole in the centre. They then threaded orange slices on the spring and hung them amongst the trees

A free children’s lunch bag
